Make Strong And Satisfying Cappuccino At Home With The Cuisinart Espresso Maker

by Makeda Kurtz

There is nothing better than being able to make your own espresso, cappuccino or latte at home or in the office. There are two versions of the Cuisinart Espresso Maker available for this. One is automatic and works at the touch of a button and the more traditional type allows you to have more control. You can make on cup or two and steam or foam milk with the stainless steel nozzle.

You don't want a lot of hassle when you are preparing and cleaning up so there is a removable water reservoir to fill it up and a removable drip trap that can easily be emptied afterwards. The grate is stainless steel and the portafilter holder has a locking mechanism that holds on to the coffee ground cup when you empty it out.

For that added professional touch you can warm the cups on the top tray. For the best cup of coffee the machine should be switched on and allowed to warm up first. Ground coffee can be placed in the holder or it takes a pre-measured pod. Put the cup holder in place and tighten properly and leave it for a while as the cups heat on the top of the machine.

As the machine heats up it should drip some water on the coffee and this will make sure you get the most intense results when it is brewed. Make sure that the grounds are properly compressed for the best results. They should not be too tight as the steam won't penetrate and if they are too loose then you won't get a good result. There is a measuring spoon provided for the correct amounts.

Place a cup under each spout on the holder for two cup of place a cup so that it catches both streams if you are only making one. If you are using the programmable model you just need to press a button to get either 1.5 or 3 ounces of espresso. With the manual version you just have to flip the switch and leave it till you have as much as you want.

The Cuisinart Espresso Maker also comes with a steel cup for frothing up milk. If you are making cappuccino remember to keep the tip of the spout just below the surface to get a nice rich foam. For a latte you can use more milk and don't need to froth it that much.

A Cuisinart Espresso Maker is solidly built and finished in polished steel. The designs are simple, elegant and professional looking. For the best performance they operate up to 15 bars of pressure.
